This is your basic run of the mill diner, but they always get the order right! Their kielbasa is legit and makes a great breakfast addition. Good potatoes and coffee, friendly service. There are times when there is a short wait, but not typically.

Great place to grab breakfast. We have been there about 10 times over the past 6 months. Never disappointed. Always good. Always busy and obviously popular with the locals.

They advertise EGGS BENEDICT on the sign out front, but clearly do not understand what eggs Benedict is. It is NOT ! one fried egg over two English muffins, thinly sliced lunch meat, drowned in Hallandale sauce! Place is going downhill quick! I'm back to grills for the REAL EGGS BENEDICT. :)

Facility: After a long 24 hour journey, our resort recommended that we check out Portside Galley or Grills for breakfast. We opted for the "mom and pop" restaurant at Portside Galley. The place does look dated, but that's not unexpected at all. Washrooms are okay, freaky seashell toilet seats where you can't tell if it's clean or not. They were able to accommodate the 11 of us well on a Friday morning. It wasn't too busy. TV was set on the news. Food Quality & Price: Menu was reasonably priced, the food portions were great (not insane like other American joints). I was very happy with my breakfast order, as was the rest of our 11 member group. They could expand on their tea options, coffee was okay (standard for the US, we've concluded coffee in America was just garbage in general). Service: Erin was our server and she was great. She was friendly and efficient. Constantly refilling the coffees and hot water. She gave good recommendations and checked in several times to make sure everything was okay. Overall: We all enjoyed our breakfast at Portside Galley. Don't come here expecting upscale or an oceanview, it isn't. It's a cozy and homey place with decent food. I hear the service is a hit and miss but I'm really glad Erin took care of us out-of-towners while we were there.

Excellent breakfast guys! We had everything from scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, Belgium waffles, to the turkey club. Thanks!

Decided to go to what looked like a mom-and-pop place for breakfast. Was informed of this place is been here for well over three decades. Have to admit, had a really super breakfast here. This is a real hideaway that not too many people know about, so if you're in the area, make sure that you come here.

Not bad. Bacon was a little too salty but generally the food was good.

Coffee is awesome! Food is great! Service is nice and friendly! Total hit for breakfast! The biscuit was so delish, not crumbly and moist. I would come back a third time :)

Unless you need a spa like resto on the beach, this is the best place for breakfast in the area. Dated, true, but there's a reason this place has been around for 40 years. The locals eat here. They'll tell you they've been coming for decades. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits, toast--they have it all. GET THE JUICE--IT IS AMAZING! Coffee is so so. Service is great.

Don't be fooled by the exterior, the food and service are phenomenal. I had scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and toast, and it was so good I got the rest to go! My wife had the oatmeal and said that was great too. I will definitely be back!

Best breakfast ever!! The eggs Benedict is bomb and the pancakes are sooo fluffy and yummie! Fast friendly service!

I wanted to Like this place. It has been around for a long time and has a nice local diner feel. Unfortunately the service and food kind of turned me off. The food was alright not great quality or taste, but the service was bad. We were there about 45 min to an hour. I saw the waitress 3 times. I had to walk up to the counter and refill my own coffee. To be fair it was busy but not that busy. I don't think I'll be back.

Better-than-diner food, homemade, priced right, with friendly service. Busy on the weekends, which can lead to a longer wait. During the week, you will be served quickly and without delay. Friendly staff will know you after a couple of visits. Yes, the decor is dated and some booths need upholstery repair. While this is close to the Port, don't expect any water views. The quirky unique thing here is some crafty fish decorations (made from shiny CD's) that are rigged to raise and lower every time someone opens the front door. That is some clever engineering from some hooks and fishing line.

I've only been here for breakfast, but it's never disappointed me! They have a good selection of food, it's a little divey inside, but that's fine by me - I think it adds charm to it. If you're looking for a quick place to grab breakfast around the Port, give this a shot!

For what it is , its good. Cute interior, but some ripped up seats, so needs some care. Its a locals hang though... a true Greasy spoon, so that doesnt bother me too badly. It has good eggs, good bacon, good grits, and good coffee, so what else could you ask for? Why is that one room soooo cold, though?

Portside Galley isn't really much to look at from the outside and it's kinda divy from the inside, but the food and service is truly something special. I went there with my wife and one of her most dearest friends visiting from Pennslyvania. The place struck me as out of place near the port but once the server arrived to talk to us I knew we had stumbled into something special. The server, which is so important to me that the server is amicable at least, was wonderful. The food we ordered - blackened fish sandwich, egg salad sandwich, and tuna salad sandwich was all good. The came out fast and hot. Prices are real good too. If your at the Cape Nd looking for an inexpensive breakfast or lunch this is definitely your place to go. My only complaint is that they are not opened for dinner.

Stumbled on this little cafe when I found myself biking/caching in the area. Clean, cute cafe with good service and good food. Wifi is available if you ask. I walked away a happy and satisfied girl. :)

I give this 2 stars because of the food and the price. However, if you are visiting, go somewhere else. The server was extremely rude and we waited an hour to get food. I was extremely disappointed by this experience.

Wish I could write a glowing review. They are close to my house, the service is friendly. The food is average, diner quality. It used to be cheap, so that was OK, but now it's average food at an average price. I REALLY wish that wasn't the case. If I want a breakfast place close, I go to Grills and pay more for better food. Or Zachary's for better 'diner' food that is the same cost. Shame, this place could be so much better. We used to eat here once a week, now we either drive to Simply Delicious (fantastic food) or go to Grills or Zachary's.

*This is a 2.5 star review.* In what is seeming to be my diner tour of coastal Florida, this was another lunch spot for us while getting out of the office. Average food at average prices is really what you get here. The sandwiches are inexpensive...until you make them deluxe by adding a side like fries. This is where all of the snow birds eat, so be prepared for a busy restaurant around 11am and 4:30pm. Service is not quite average, but not terrible. Meh, sums it up quite well.
